Implementation Timeline

Implementation Timeline

Status: A realistic rollout for an organization or a serious internal cohort.

Phase 0 — Prepare (1–2 weeks)

  • Decide who owns the overall effort.
  • Confirm Core Judgment will be required.
  • Set the evidence standard (use the verification rubrics).
  • Choose the first Applied Packs that match real needs (do not open all of them at once).

Phase 1 — Core Judgment (3–5 weeks)

  • Everyone who will make or influence AI decisions completes Core Judgment.
  • Artifacts are reviewed against the Core Rubric.
  • No one advances until the Checkpoint standard is met.
  • Output: a shared baseline of decision filters and evidence habits.

Phase 2 — First Applied Packs (4–8 weeks)

  • Run 1–2 Applied Packs that match the highest-priority problems (usually Personal Effectiveness + one of Workflow, Building, or Leadership).
  • Keep cohorts small enough that artifacts can be reviewed properly.
  • Capture real examples and failure cases for later enablement.

Phase 3 — Governance & Guardrails (parallel with Phase 2 or immediately after)

  • Stand up the lightweight operating model (inventory, classify, own, contract, measure, review).
  • Draft the simple governance rules from Leadership Module 3.
  • Name owners for any systems already in use.
  • Align with NIST / ISO / EU AI Act only where required by risk or regulation.

Phase 4 — Enablement & Scale (ongoing)

  • Use the Enablement pack to grow capability beyond the first cohort.
  • Keep durable judgment content stable; treat tool-specific material as replaceable overlays.
  • Review measurement data every 6–8 weeks: are decisions actually better? Are failure modes owned?
  • Expand to additional Applied Packs only when the previous ones are producing evidence of judgment.

Phase 5 — Steady State

  • New people go through Core Judgment before significant AI responsibility.
  • Applied Packs remain available as modular resources.
  • Governance cadence continues.
  • Content and overlays are reviewed on a defined schedule.
  • The measure of success remains decision quality and owned outcomes — not number of people trained.

How to Use This Section

  • Program owners: Use the timeline with the governance model to avoid both chaos and bureaucracy.
  • Everyone: Treat external frameworks as tools, not as the goal. The goal is better decisions with clear ownership.
